Just curious, but why would you want to put the heavy zx14 wheels on it?

As an owner of many ZX11's to degree the cams you will have to buy and install slotted cam sprockets. They would need to be pressed on the cams and for just a stock bike you want see a return on that investment. Now if you can find one of those old Vance & Hines iginition boxes or at a minimum put and ignition advancer on it then that will help a little, To me the ZX-11 has it's own wheel style and the ones I have seen with other brand wheels just don't look right. It's a classic. ride it, one of my all time favorite bikes.

Cam sprockets are bolt on, not press.

I guess. It's been years since I fooled with any of the old Kawasaki motors. I just knew I had taken these cams out of my 95 ZX-11 D model and the sprocket carrier had been pressed on and tack welded. then the sprocket that was slotted bolted to the new carrier. I still had them laying on the back of a shelf for all these years. I need to throw some stuff away! They may be aftermarket cam?? I took them out when I put the turbo kit on it.

Hmm. Don't look like stock cams. The ZRX1100 owner's buy up the ZX11 cams for an easy upgrade in power.

ZX11 for the ZRX1100's and ZZR1200 for ZRX1200's. The 1200's are 5 to 10 mm longer.

They were in My 95 ZX-11D with a superbikemike big block when I got it. I ended up building a Turbo 1109cc using a stock cylinder and some turbo cams from Mr. Turbo. I think they are ruined now though. they have a bunch of rust on them. should have put them up better

Yea, I always wanted to do the 6 speed swap on my 99 ZRX11. I think you had to get the early transmission from the 1000 Ninja or mabey the GPz900.

You can use the C model but then you have to run that ugly offset sprocket. The D model is the best. Just have to swap the spacer colar for the sprocket. Same with the ZZR1200 trans.
