those were good all around bikes. good power, comfortable, fun bike for sure.

Thanks done a lot of work to her -1front +2rear vo rtex chain and spockets,+4 advancer shift kit stage 2 jet kit k&n filter modfull muzzy exhaust and I only had half throttle carbon fiber little touches here and there can't wait until I get the 14from dealer next month

Nice ZX9R,
ZX9R is nice ride, i know very well this bike. I'm owner of ZX9R 00 Turbo since 5 years. I built the motor and all turbo system and i tuned too. I think you do the best choice with ZX14R !!! I don't think you missed your ZX9R. I ride many bikes : ZX9R all years, ZX6R all years, GSXR600, 750, 1000, Busa gen 1, CBR, R1 and the ZX14 gen 1 (175whp) and i 'm very surprise of the handing, brake and power !!!
I don't ride the new ZX14R, but i read a lot on and it's power beast and the most of owners told it's better bike on gen 1 on all things !!! If i have the money it's will be the bike i buy right now. But, i must waiting some years before i buying one. I'm jealous of you. Tell me more after you ride the new ZX14R. Thanks

Yes I will when I get home from my job in about 30 days I'll pick up the 14r and some goodies to put on her myself
