Update Brock testing on the ZX14R

Pulled from Brocks face book page ..

We spent 3 hours with John Stewarts ‘Louisville Slugger’ 2012 ZX-14R today. At 4 pm it had 196 RWHP and 117 ft-lbs. of torque on the SAE scale… at 7:20 pm it had 219 RWHP and 128 ft-lbs. of torque on the SAE Scale! We changed to our Alisyn <<0 weight + our Petron Plus additive. We then added our production version Alien Head 2 exhaust system (it arrived today UPS red), installed a Guhl Performance... modified ECU and then poured in some VP MR12 race fuel. THAT’s IT. No mapping, stock chain, no ceramic bearings, stock air cleaner in place… We leave for the dealer show in Indianapolis tomorrow morning and we needed some info. on how our combinations are working out. I’d say we are doing ok and the new ZX-14R is a legit KILLER.

Brock swears that the 0wt oil doesn't hurt your motor.
I can't convince myself to do it.

I ran my ZX12R several times at Maxton using 0 weight oil, one event we made 21 passes....that's 21 miles at WOT !
I never let the bike idle, was afraid of low oil pressure.

I eventually put 30, 000 trouble free miles on the bike without a hitch. Sure didn't take long for the oil to drain!!

Brock had his red 14 down at Daytona a couple years ago and was riding all over the place on it and I know it had a ton of dragstrip & one mile passes on zero weight oil.

If I was looking at that last mph, I wouldn't hesitate about going to zero again......just not on the street.

Like all his proven products, Brock has done a lot of testing both on the dyno and at the track with this oil and if he gives it his blessing I'm satisfied.

I wonder what was the A/F on the runs with Mr12 with the exhaust......

-with a CT single mounted, the A/F was around 13.2 to 1. I am sure with the mr12 the bike was pretty lean.... like 14.1
-switching from pump fuel to Mr12, you have to richen the fuel by like 20% to get back to 13 to 1 A/F.

I guess there will be more to follow on this one.

Brock posted this on FB:

In stock form the bike gets pretty rich on top, as you can see. Mine did exactly the same even with the CT-Meg...so even with the MR12, Brock's test bike only went to 13.3:1 on top....
