I call it (14R)

Agreed:

"Old" = 14

"New" = 14R

No confusion there .................

Like dat too

Works for me but I was doing some online shopping today and you how they have those drop down menus to select the bike you want for fitment??? Well, they often list the 06-11 Zx-14 as the ZX-14R to distinguish it from the Connie, I guess. Do you think everyone is gonna go into their website and standardize the terminology? IDTS. This might get vey confusing now.

I hate to post this but I must be stupid because I thought Hayabusa was on Gen III. Only reason being is because the Gen I Hayabusa (1999-2000) was unrestricted if I'm not correct, Gen II was restricted down to 186mph where it stayed until 2008 Gen III being 1341cc. JMO. Secondly the ZX-14R to me would be Gen I reason being all the other 14's have been just 14 and not 14R meaning "Race". Again JMO "Keep the front wheel down boys"
