2012 ZX14R Dyno comparison with Brock's CT & QK(Quiet Kore)

The exhausts both look identical and the main difference is the reduced noise levels coming from them. The QK is substantial quieter while barely effecting performance. A very cool product.

Baseline was Brock's CT IEven though I pulled it with this pipe 3 weeks ago, I wanted to do it again for comparison sake, within 1 HP from last time)

Brock's Quiet Kore ( MUCH Quieter, for those concerned with noise levels) Only 3HP difference!

I did not dyno it when it was stock. If I would have thought about it I would have to track the progress. Shane might have, he does all his testing piece by piece and tests everything.

Here is what my bike made, with stock exhaust vs with CT Meg.

Pay no attention to the 200 hp #, that is from the bump at the end of the pull. But about 9 hp gain peak, and 12 hp at 10600!. No other changes between pulls.

Thanks for the information. The sound of this exhaust on the dyno is absolutely beautiful.

Our CT Dual system with regular CT mufflers vs. Quiet Kore’s only drop 1 HP and allow the ZX-14R to pass the AMA's suggested SAE JA 2825 Sound Requirement tests: AMA Video: How to Perform a SAE J2825 Motorcycle Sound Test

The Quiet Kore Dual system registers 88 dB at an idle and 100 db at 5K rpm. The Standard CT Dual System registered 90 dB at an idle and 105 db at 5K rpm.

Brock-

Would you say the QuietKore Muffler in the CT is more quiet than the stainless Gen 4 full exhaust?

Thanks,

Mike
