175 shot. lasted about 40-50 1/8 mile passes, untill it kicked a shim and broke the valve. that was with stock valve springs also.

With my zx12 I had a 125 shot, 2 stages but I had to pull so much timing and it was a little fat that I lost 35 na hp to run that much dope. I cut the juice in half, put my timing and fuel back to stock and went quicker and faster. You want to run a big shot and pick up 30 mph in the 1/4-build a nitrous motor. Thats just my opinion.

quick was the 125 a wet shot?
I've run 90 dry stock pistons with ported head and valve springs.

no it was a dry shot, one stage. it was progressed. i think it was set at like start 20 percent with a ramp of 2 seconds.

it was an 08 model. owner wanted to see how long it would last. everything in it was stock. was really surprised it lasted as long as it did. top of the pistons looked pretty good, but the ring landings were starting to deform a little.

The only way I would think of running that big of a shot on stock pistons is with VP import as the fuel.

that's not totally true. everything will break if not done right.
here is a pic of a piston I broke from my bike going lean
at that time the bike was tuned on C16, but I had been street riding with 93 and they only had 112 available at the track that day. but the 110 in 6 degrees timing out and that was the result

What size of jet were you running to kill a piston with -6* and 110 in the tank??

this was the map with 22 jets, but I changed them for 24 jets and didn't go back to the dyno. I thought i could just add a little more fuel

what all is need to consistently run a 100 shot other than valve springs. Im building a 13.5 compression 14 motor and would like to run a 100 every now and then. I have a kit with a spray bar and progressive box. I planned on getting a window switch. is there anything else needed to keep the motor together. I have a dry shot kit so far.

Good gas and someway to pull timing ramp it in to not hit the motor to hard.

Never tried, I never pulled any timing with boost. But on spray I pull some out and I run good gas.
