I have a friend with an 11 model that put down 181 with his flash. It was 100$ less then the price listed in this topic and a 1 week turn around.

Did he get the US spec ecu reflashed or did he order a euro spec ecu that also got reflashed?

Same thing with the article from the link... stock euro spec ecu or reflashed euro spec ecu?

He sent his US ecu and got it flashed. Why would you have to have a euro ecu flashed? Sounds like to me dragbikelive.com was confused, I am not.

Yes, he told me it was a US spec ecu re-flashed, not the euro spec re-flashed.

This is just the beginning !!! Theres more to this story...

Its not a way of Kawasaki getting $400 more out of you. You don't need to buy anything!!!
Just send out your stock ECU.

Its a way of getting around the federal governments restrictive noise laws, for those of you racing the bike off-road only of course.

Blame the over reaching federal government.

Is this the zx-10 that was on Schnitz's dyno? I heard it put down a real good number.
