Das Beemer RR will most likly be top dog on Dyno HP there for the class. The ZX14 will still beat it at torque any day. And torque is what helps make wins at the drag strip.

So were are the BMW RR1000 drag strip # . Is it just a extreme RPM track / high dyno hype bike with no drag stip balls to challenge the Busa or ZX14

The Brock 1000RR looks set for the drag stip to me but I could be wrong.

brocks bmw is flying... given it's the only one that is flying at the dragstrip, but it's still flying nonetheless.

I dont care if the S1000 breaks the laws of physics and passes a wavelength of light. When I see, read or hear about BMW's bike, or Brocks 1000s I think of 2 things, The sloth from Goonies with his un symmetrical face and my first car, a crappy horrible in every way 89 bmw 318i. Now I only own and drive trucks, bmw renewed cars for me

Flies pulled, 16-42, BMC street, 8" extensions, drag shock, cut pan, Cycle Concepts Drag Pack and springs, muzzy m14 w/ oval can, lowered, Shinco usoft rear, pcv with autotune, leightweight Shori 18ah battery, throttle meister. 500lbs at bandimeres scales with half tank of juice.

yeah the busa was. I meant litre leaner class and didn't glance at the others. forgive me for always thinking about going around in circles on a track and not straight

HA YEP looks like the VMAX won the 1501-up class TRIUMPH ROCKET won last year with 243 HP

A BMW wins a BMW sponsored event? WOW!
Look at #2. Do you think 183 hp is impressive? How many other serious 1000's do you think took this challenge? I'm not saying the BMW isn't a great bike, but let's "keep it real".

Well if no other serious 1000's show up what ya expect ? or implying? the numbers in all the classes look low when compared to years past .

is there a list of what bikes showed up or are you assuming no one except serious BMW owners bothered entering?
I love how the BMW is hated by all! Thats what happens when the low-cost big 4 gets dusted off. I think Aprilia could've took spots 2 and 3 had "serious" riders showed up
