IF YOUR ZX14 WAS BUILT RIGHT THEN SEE NEXT THREAD

Apparently My post has offended many owners of Zx14's that seem to be perfect specimens with not one flaw. I've seen most complain about their tensioners or their clutch or their blah blah blah but they think that that was all just a myth and some gremlin came right up and sabotaged their perfect machines. But this thread is for those in the real world that had had Serious Mechanical failures. If you have ever had a serious Mechanical Failure on your zx14 then Please tell your story here. But if your bike is as perfect as the rest of this forum then please see next thread and chat with those guys. Thanks

This guy/girl is a complete nutter. I questioned his/her agenda way back at the start of his/her ridiculousness regarding the 14's. Appears they may be trying to get enough support to start some sort of lawsuit.

"I've seen most complain about their tensioners or their clutch or their blah blah blah "

That's a good one! I didn't realize the 14's had an inherent clutch problem?

Can we start a petition against Kaw? Maybe we can all get our bikes replaced with 2011's?

Most vmax failures are actually brain failures of the owners. Isn't that right ART?

Hey Einstein if there is SO MUCH evidence of all this crap your CLAIMING how bout you produce some evidence.........you keep babbling about facts and evidence but I havent seen a a single shred of factual evidence to back up your alleged CLAIMS........I mean if there is so much evidence it should be pretty easy for you to support your CLAIMS with facts right?

Funny though isnt it how you CLAIM we should PROVE you are lying not the other way around.........kinda like the sleazy lawyer asking the man to prove he "doesnt" beat his wife., Why do trolls ALWAYS run from facts.....facts to a troll are like holy water to a vampire!!!!!...............you say theres a whole 3 ZX 14's out of how many thousands produced that had bearing failure............how bout YOU prove thats more than any of the BMW's, Busa's or Hondas out there that have bearing failures..........3 friggin ZX 14's doesnt sound like a lot to me..................The REAL question though is I'm wondering if we can find 3 BMW techs who think wind and rain can damage internal components?

I'll bet there are more Elvis or Yeti sights than there are ZX 14 bearing failures

Actually my 14 seemed to want to crash all the time before she turned 50k! 4 times to be exact.
Now she's perfect and doesn't want to crash anymore:

Look up "total chaos" on google. A good portion of it goes to a site called www.fisters.com

Is that coincidence?

See, you messed up right there, I have never heard one person complain about their clutch. I have more than 200 dragstrip passes, and I commute on this bike five days a week, with the occasional weekend road trip, and I still think my clutch is awesome. Hell most bike owners would kill for this clutch.

If you are going to troll, at least do a little research and try to come up with something worth while.

LMAO!!!! You got all kinds of complaints on clutch issues right here in your own forum but I was just using it as an example I really didn't know if there was a problem or not. Mine went out at 10k We put a Barnette Racing set it in. And ya know I was also gonna say. The dealer never touched my bike before this. I did all the repairs myself and oil changes and Kawi never fought me on that either. Seems Kawi found me alot more credible than these guys fortunately.

I build bikes and order Parts daily for people in the Atlanta Area. No comebacks, no warranty claims. I must be doing something right. And I must say this before I get offline for the night. The service Advisor who I was having all the issues of confidence with was Just fired upon completion of this rebuild. Weird?

Hey TC, got your name from a guy on this board. He said you had some skills in a certain area. If you are ever in the neighborhood, give me a ring.

No problem with over18k for me.
Didn't you say could have been initial break issue before 8k? Clutch went out at 10 k?
