Finally....Ti-Winder installed!!!!

Finally got my Brock's Ti-Winder in yesterday, and installed it today. Awesome quality, sounds great with the race baffle in, but was a little more difficult to install than the past systems I've owned. I had them ceramic coat it before shipping it out. Gonna test it out next week, and I'll post the results with hopefully some video too. Here's the pics of the install. Stay tuned!!

For optimal peformance, yes you should get a Power Commander. Brock's has race maps developed for all of his systems that you can get from them.

A few reasons why I did it...
I was getting away from having anything shiny on my bike (notice the wheels have been powder coated). I hate to polish over and over again.
The ceramic acts as an insulator and blocks alot of heat from radiating back onto the motor.

Was hoping the ceramic would have been darker to match my bike better, but oh well I guess thats the color of black ceramic??

I'm going to try to run with the baffle in on this system. For my 2 Muzzy systems and my Tsukigi system, I ran with the baffle out. Most bikes I see with Brocks pipes have the baffle in, so I'm going to give it a shot. The throttle response seems crisper, the little bit that I ran it today in my trailer.

I have both maps for it, baffle in, and baffle out. Going to try them both hopefully.

I'm curious too. I have my new Penske drag shock installed too that I haven't tested yet.
Hopefully the weather is good next weekend, theres a Friday night and a Saturday race here. Should be able to get that shock tuned in hopefully and see what the pipe feels like with the baffle installed.

Thanks Dubious. I will get some better pics next week when I get it out of the trailer. The pics I posted doesn't do the pipe justice.

did you add the shock and the pipe at the same time? I would be interested in seeing them added one at a time to see the gains in each.

Yea, same time. Well about a month apart, but I haven't raced since early December, so they are both new to the bike.

Its supposed to be black....but thats how black ceramic comes out, real flat and looks like dark gray. I think it will look better once I get the bike out of the trailer. The camera flash may be making it look brighter than it actually is.

I got the race baffle since my bike never see's the streets.

I think maybe the difference is either the size of the opening at the outlet of the cone, or maybe the amount of packing they used to muffle the sound maybe?? Not sure.
