Where is the thread where it tells you how much to cut down the pickup tube and also is it possible to hook up a oil presseure gauge?

You can install a 1/8 branch tee at the oil sending unit for a pressure guage.

you can install an oil pressure gauge at the sending unit. there are also a couple of other places that see oil pressure that are drilled tapped and plugged. you can put a reducer in place of the plug and run your gauge from there as well. one is below the timing advance/ crank sensor.

you can call osr/clems Kawasaki and ask. you want the p/u around 1/8-1/4 inch from the bottom so as not to touche the pan but will be under oil at all times. the stock pans have the pick up shortened by hand and not machine so the distance varies a little from length to length.....as long as you are close you are good.

I put a Defi Oil Pressure gauge on my dash with the sender on my pan. Its the tee-d off the oil pressure "switch" next to the oil filter on the front of the pan.

it's a not a true 1/8th npt fitting, so be ready to re-tap it or buy the correct fitting from cycle logic.

I just re-tapped my pan.
