What rpm are you launching at? Shinko Tire?

I know that you and Smokin' both run 16/41. It doesn't seem to be enough for my setup, but I have a taller tire than the Shinko.

I leave at 5k and am running a 190 Ultra Soft Shinko. I am going to try the 180 Shinko 008 next. I have only a few track days left on the 190. Also I am running the Brocks track map with no filter. Are you in MD?

I race in MD....

I had the Maxton Map in the bike last time at the track....I'm going to load the two maps up and compare the lower rpm cells. But I recall them being very similar.

My tire is about 1" taller than the Shinko...equal to a half tooth or so of gearing. But, even so, at 17/45 that would still net me about 16/42 on a Shinko. But I have also moved some of the low rpm grunt upstars with the velocity stacks. The bike just felt pretty weak launching the other day. I mean, I still was able to pretty easily pull high 1.4's...but it didn't really jump out there. It felt (and sounded) like it was laboring when I came off the clutch.

Maybe it was me, my throttle hand, and the heat....I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Will do. When are you going to try the MR9? That stuff is addictive like crack, and more expensive!

Nice Video.

I am also running 16/41.. With stock swingarm my top speed is 155 and I weigh 225 pounds.

I would like to see what you would be able to do one time on my bike with your weight at the track.

93 octane.

I checked out the Brock track map vs. Maxton map last night. The track map has a lot more fuel right where I launch the bike. So, that might account for some of the change in launching last time out. I think I will put the track map back in. The Maxton map has more fuel from, say, 6k rpm up.

All I said was you 2 would make a good heads up match. He would mow over Tommy and Jessie. You 2 would be very close. Since when are you timid about running someone? Nobody said anything about money.

He is running 126 in the 1/8 and 154 in the 1/4 mile ... I barely crack 124 in the 1/8 in this heat .. That adds up to 151 in the 1/4 mile ..In this heat i'd be looking at high 8.90s to 9.00s to his low 8.80s ... He has me covered Teddy ..Unless I .....................Blank blank .............blank...................??

You're trying to set me up Smokin. I love the blank, blank and blank. Have you still only ran 1/8 mile with your 09? I bet it will outperform your 06'. Look forward to meeting you guys.

No i would never set you up Really truely ..

I have not had the 09 to BMP yet but based on my 1/8 mile numbers it looks like 8.90s @ 151 .. I think we are using different brocks maps and that maybe why mine seems to be down on MPH Vs yours ... Here is what Brocks sent me ..

BPP-ZX1408-StreetSmart-ALL-PCV_STREET-NOSEC-MAP1.pvm: BIKE/YR: ZX1408 EXHAUST:All BPP Baffle: Yes PwrCmdr5 MAP:Track&Street FUEL:Pump MOTOR: Stock FLIES:Out TRE:No AIR FILTR:Out on Track Only

Can you check your map and let me know ?

Thanks
