Just go use another forum that has pm's like the rest of us do. 
Bikeland is not a good place to communicate privately with other members...
Fish has made it clear that fixing pm's is not a big priority, regardless of what the community here wants.

No, it's not convienient nor useful for communications here, with folks here, to do PM's for folks here, elsewhere, where they ain't. Makes no sense.

....i dont think it takes months to fix pms... and yea i understand that people are volunteer their time to this, but if we got to go to another website to privately communicate, why not just everyone move to that website? dont get me wrong, this is a great place, but i wouldnt imagine something like pm's not being put back up...

The problem is that all of the other forums suck so bad that no one is going to leave here. (And fish knows it). They should offer to boost steve's post count by 5.000 for fixing the pm's. Then he wouldn't have to bump posts.

guys, it's not up to me... as I've said repeatedly, freek is in charge of the technical stuff - he's working full time and simply hasnt gotten around to completing whatever upgrade he's working on... believe me... we've talked about it - just no time for him right now 
when it's up and running, you'll all know.

In all seriousness, I genuinely apologize. I realize how annoying this has been and am embarrassed at how long it's taken. It's been a combination to a tougher problem to fix than I would have expected (partly aging hardware, which we will be moving off of soon) and mostly no freakin' time. But I will find some way to put the time in the next few days.
