All seriousness, the ride home was 40 miles and I pretty much took it easy trying to feel it out. Wouldn't you know it...I came upon a black ZX-14 with stock pipes on the freeway.
The suspension is incredible. Stiff, yet smooth and supple all at the same time. The acceleration...oh man, the thing picks up speed like it's nobody's bidness!! One time I felt the boost coming on and the rear tire fighting to maintain grip. With the stock suspension, I'm sure it would have caused the tire to break loose.
I had on earplugs, but the exhaust doesn't really get any louder the faster you go. On my other bike with the Alien Head...everyone knew you were coming. This one...not so much.
Exhilarating machine!

I think a color matched front fender & a mat black hugger would top it off.
Give Steve a day up in the local canyons and he'll give you guys a ride report.

How about now?
As totally kick ass as this bike's suspension is, you can't get close to what it can do. I wasn't pushing it that hard, and I fucked up the filter and scraped the dump pipe. Once I heard the dump pipe scrape, I hung it up for the day. The canyons in my back yard are too tight for this bike the way it is. Need to cut the dump pipe and see if there's a filter available that offers more clearance.
