KAWASAKI ZX14 240 TIRE ON STOCK SWINGARM I saw the post about the 210mm tire and some of you guys were amazed to hear about the 210 Metz......That was nothing new to me, guys around here had been putting those on sport bikes since Metz 1st started selling them. So I thought this would be interesting to some also. Saw this done months ago.

Notice the stock rim has been widened to fit the 240 tire.....The rim seemed flawless after the mod.

The guy that ran 254 MPH on the nekkid BUSA at Texas Mile did it on a 240 tire.

Any specification numbers (width mod, from going to) on whats necessary to mod the stock rim? Seems straight forward enough in principal.
Anyone know someone who also does the rim mod?
Rim size modified from 17" x 6" to 18" x 8.5" and different hub and spacers used not sure what else needs to be done.

check with Kosman, they had a complete kit, but you will have to refinish the wheel yourself after they modify it.
i feel inclined to trust them, since they've been modifiying wheels for dragbikes forever.
but that just my opinion.
