I know I'll get flak but...

I want to get some intake/engine orange LEDS for the ol' girl and hook them up to a PMR switch. Does anyone have any pictures of their set-up for me to see? And I am aware that I am going to get crap from the cops around here, but I really like the looks of them.

Thanks Eklipse. I know a lot of people here are going to call me a p*ssy but I saw a CBR on the road a couple weeks ago, and it had some blue lights coming out of the engine and it looked real sharp. I wasn't going to light it up like a Christmas tree or anything.... just for accent.

Maybe two on each side completely hid under the plastics... You can very easily carried away with them, but I think a few adds character.

There is nothing wrong with orange lights. I have replaced my side running light bulbs with regular orange units. The orange complements the 5000K HID low beams better than the original bulbs, which looked next to them like candle lights.
Now, this is not the pic you were looking for , but here it is anyway.

All of my lights are UV and I went the Christmas tree route, LOL.

I've never been stopped for my lights, but was warned once while in Alabama getting a speeding ticket.

What's next? A seat made from Bald Eagle and White Panda?

Just kidding....I'm not much into them, but anything is ok in moderation.

Besides, it's more about what YOU like than anyone else...

Nydhags - that flashing was sick! If you did that behind me I would have quickly pulled over. I am not looking to be quite so dramatic but it was cool too see. Like something from the movie Tron.

I have the front strobes wired into my high beam switch, it works better than using my horn.
The other turn signal strobes I use when its raining, snowing, or parking lot pimpin'.

Do you have a link for those? I have been looking and I can't find a seat like that anywhere.

They just passed a law here in PA where motorcycle lighting kits are legal to ride with. They say it makes a motorcycle more visible.

I bought a set of the Green ccfl halo lights, still haven't got em.
Plan is to wire the headlights so i can turn em off at the track and have the halo's on.

I freaking LOVE the look of halo's but I just can't afford them.

I think small lights in the intake sounds cool. I'm not picturing anything that could blind anyone - I don't see why cops would fuss about it - sounds safer/more visable to me. I guess you might get stopped for something else and then they might want to write up a laundry list on you, though.

I'm sure cruisers run with all sorts of little aftermarket running lights, why not us?

If you do get the Halos make sure they have a protective cover.
I bought the Halos that were just a glass tube and broke 3 out of 4.
So I ended up sticking micro LEDs in the housing while I had it open.
I'll try again one day.

Good advice? How much did yours cost from start to finish if you don't mind me asking?

The Micro LEDs were about 20 a piece and I used 6 for the Headlights.

I also have a 3 Zone controller and the Black Magic controller for added effects.
