new 1/4 mile times
today was my first day at the track since all my fun stuff was put on! and i cant say, WOW, why didnt i extend it years ago...
the mod list:
extended 8 1/2''
brake line
chain guard
16t front
43t rear
pcIII w boz bros map
air shifter (which did no work today because of a kinked airline beside the battery)
muzzy lowering links (middle hole)
lowered/strapped front end
humidity 87
temp 60's
absolute barometer 32.05
r/t: .165
60' 1.462
330' 3.849
1/8 5.850
mph 121.15
1000' 7.627
1/4 9.150
mph 147.31
i had a few 148 and 149 mph passes but times were a tenth or so slower. the shifter worked for a few shifts, but that damn line really messed things up. also remember i weigh 210 unsuited. i was very pleased with how things went for the first time out! after the shifter works, i hope to see some 8.99's!

Best: 60ft 1.351 1/8 5.68 mph 123.98 1/4
8.89 mph 151.32

the air line between the sylenoid and the plunger was crimping, so the motor wasnt being killed, and when that shifter hit, it took off! snatched my left hand off the grip twice!

Those are good numbers, imagine if you had a better pipe...
Very impressive for a bigger guy too!

Na I'm at 62 inches and hoping to run an 8.99 with a gear change. my best before was a 9.14 at 218 unsuited. so we are close. going up 2 to 3 teeth in the back to go along with -1 in the front my 9.14 was with stock rear.
