I'm pretty sure it is the bottom hole... but it's been a while since I installed mine. The longer the link... the higher the rear tire is pushed up into the fender, but you can't ride it on the street like that. You really have to watch it on the middle hole, because if you wheelie and come down hard you run the risk of smashing your oil pan. and it will scrape speed bumps. Evidently I came down pretty hard last time I was at the track, because I've got a nice ground down spot on my tab and oil plug.

If you set them in the lowest setting you will need the Muzzy shock travel limiter to keep from bottoming on the swingarm with the fuel pump.

I'm 175 lbs and run mine on the second hole in the rear and 1" in the front. I have scraped a couple of times but other than the one at the dragstrip, I haven't had any problems out of mine. It looks good, and my best 60ft is a 1.56 with just the bones and a strap.

I have a straight link on my bike and it solves all those problems. You can run the spring at a comfortable tension and not have any bottoming out problems. You can use stock dog bones with a straight link and get really close to a perfectly flat swing arm level. I have seen a 1.39 60's on bike at 65 1/2 inchs.
