Who Wants to See a Good Bike Movie . . .

Back in the early 90's, I remember seeing a movie called "Fled" with Laurence Fishburne and Stephen Baldwin.

It wasn't a bike movie but I still remember the scenes when they took off on those two Duc's and all I could say was "Man, wish that was me"!!! Things heated up in a lengthy chase scene with the goones in the lincoln.

What was cool was that they were actually riding for the most part.

Those scenes made me want to sneek out the house and take off on my dad's 86' Suzuki Cavalcade. Then I realized that if I dropped this thing, or better yet, wreck , I'd might as well ask Jesus to bring me on into Heaven right then and there! Because if I didn't die, my dad would kill me anyway. LOL!!!

Anyway since then, there has not been a movie that inspired me like those few short scenes in that movie. (not to act a fool, but to ride a sportbike)
Believe it or not, this was the first time I'd seen a sportbike in action.

"Biker Boyz" was alright. At least they showed off some nice bikes.

"Torque" was just rediculous.

I think it's time for a good bike movie with a good plot and NO special effects.

. . . . .OK I'm Done.

It took me a while to see The World's Fastest Indian, but I really enjoyed it.

When the batteries die on my MP3 player and I wait til the next gas stop to switch to the backup player I think about how people rolled back in the days before all this technological stuff, LOL.

Rob van winkle (AKA Vanilla Ice) is from my home town of Paris TX. He always tried to act like a badass on his hurricane, but everytime that my dad would try to go find him to race he always managed to dissapear. Guess he didn't want any part of that 1000L.
