what exactly are we doing here? crankcase breather connected to? reed valve air suction at the valve cover? what does this do? stop/reduce the backfire? I tried plugging the line from the airbox to the reed valve. I didnt help much I took it back out. need info here. Correct me if Im wrong... does the ignition spark twice ...once on compression stroke and once when the exhaust valve is open? My old KZ did this. Nothing happened as their was no fuel or compression. On the 14 does this extra spark have unburned gasses that fire? hence the backfire? I'll stop here and take another drink of my bathwater...mmm....sudsy

hi
the breather is connected by the shown pipe direct from the engine crank breather plate, to the reed valves on rocker cover with a t piece fitted.
frame is plugged where the original crank breather pipe joins the frame

I wonder how many people here are successully using this mod?

I thought there was some concern on the 12R with it affecting oil pressure at idle? Maybe it was Entropy who saw that?

I did that on my ZRX a while back. No gains on the dyno but also didn't hurt anything.
