wiring diagram.
So..................................On Friday night, I change my subframe *amongs other things*
Upon putting the new one in I pinched some wires, I didnt even realize.
Till we were on the dyno about to get some HP down. When I noticed smoke coming from under the gas tank. Naturally I quickly shut the bike off.
I took the tank off, and realized I had pinched the harness coming from the stator *after the connector* against a ground bolt on the subframe.
Needless to say. I ordered a repair manual from ebay for 70.00 *the dirty dealer wanted 108.00*.
However, until the book arrives. How and where can I look at a wiring diagram of the bike, so that I can see the values. for said wires.
I need to decifer if the resistor is good/stator/wiring etc.....

You shoulda came here before you ordered the service manual, we coulda got you one for free. Sounds like you may still get a backup for your paper one anyways

I recently purchased an alarm system from Scorpion Alarms (rlink1100SE) and it requires that I tap into existing wiring for the lights. Where can I find the wiring diagram for the 2010 ZX 14, so I do not mistakenly tap into the wrong wire?

You do not need to tap into the lights, there is a connector kit. I have the same alarm but even with the connector kit it was REALLY tight to the point I spliced the connector kit and added 3-4 inches.

Once it downloads (you will need Adobe PDF reader), click File, Save as and chose a location... What I do is print out the pages that apply to what I am working on... If they get dirty or whatever I just throw them away & print out new ones if needed...

What area or location does the connection kit connect to? Is there a harness assembly that connects to avoid the wire tapping>

The connector kit basically connects the rear lights to the alarm, its plug & play. The front lights go through the factory harness that has the correct plug or relay under the seat. Installation takes about 30-45 minutes, unless you are a permanent student on the short bus

Thanks, I realize my mistake was not ordering the factory kit. I just ordered it and hopefully it will keep me off the short bus....
