IS GOING TO A 16TOOTH FRONT A GOOD THING?

Deciding whether or not to go with a front sprocket change. Just got my wheels powerd coated black on my 07 plasma and it is bad ass I will have some pictures tomorrow. But I want to know whether or not it will raise the rpms I already ordered the stock 41 tooth rear vortex sprocket in black to match the wheels.

Yes it will raise the rpms about 400 to 500 at any givin speed. Still not bad even at 75 to 85 mph.

Purchased 44 tooth rear sprocket directly from Vortexracing.com, you have the option to order flat black hardened sprocket, or special order gloss black. You can also order standard sprocket. Prices for black and gloss black are approx 75.00 regardless of how many teeth needed. Sorry, just realized your post concerned front sprocket, not certain if they make a black hardened front sprocket?

I ordered it directly from my dealership. My boss owns a Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep store and we just aquired a Honda, Kawi shop. So it makes it nice when you can just make a phone call. Cost was about 65 bucks. Looks sweet.
