Both plenum and airbox will have the same pressure differential under boost, should. At low or no boost is where you will pick up the starving of cylinders because the injectors will be trying to draw air, the nearest will draw the lion share. The airbox has been flowed from the factory and will be very hard to match with an aftermarket or homemade. This is according to our resident engineer who designs flow meters,pumps, and flow injectors.

Sounds to me, like the "resident" engineer needs to stick with his flow meters and pumps.
