So Whada ya think uv my azz now?

I have installed the tiger undertail pan and modified it.

I just realised it doesn't matter how ugly the busa tail is... the owner won't see it when riding, and neither will we...

Interestingly enough, 2 weeks in BC and no one ever stopped me, but one ride in Alberta, since the place is crawling with bylaw officers, highway patrol, and RCMP who seem to have a vendetta for motorcyclists , and they pull me over for nothing.

In fact they went out of their way, broke the law and were speeding through traffic and blasting yellow lights( I was a block ahead of them) without their hazards, passing muddy vehicles with dirty license plates , to complain about mine!
Then they let me go, compliment the bike once they realise I am not one of a many 20 yr old squids in town... they knew me too and were nice when they realised who i was...
Still, I hate being discriminated against cause I am riding a bike.

In any event check out the other nice bitz I have installed lately...

PS ... Out on PRIVATE road I had a good chance to run it up to a calibrated / GPS speed of 300 KM/Hr today 17 -44 and -18% on the speedohealer and simultaneously hit redline at 300,

I was adjusting the kill time for the shifter, practicing launches, and checking a/f ratios on the bottles...I don't know how anyone with more than 240rwhp would want it without stretching the wheelbase at least a couple inches..., and without an airshifter..
It pulls through the gears stupid fast. When I hit it at 7000 rpm in 6th, the clutches slip around 8000 rpm , so I will have to shim, or go heavier springs.

Ran 4 20oz bottles and a full tank of fuel empty in about 100 miles!
I am totally addicted.... I have lost all remaining senses and want a turbo real bad...

I have to get some more black bolts , to replace the silver ones in the windscreen for my radar detector.

I need to replace the ratty red clip on tubes, and looking for opinions...
should I use black, or gold anodized tubes? What ya all think?

Yup,
I almost wish i would have hid the bottle, every public joe asks...Is that nitrous?
Then I get the insane spcheel....
I gave up arguing with them... Now I just agree

I have a few things left to tidy up, but the riding season will be over by end of October for sure, so i am just riding whenever I can between familly life, and my 75hr/week consulting business.

When the snow flies I be wrenchin again.

I would imagine that your tag is mounted illegally and not visible so that is why they went after you. I would be hard to say they pulled you over for nothing since your plate is mounted illegally.

On less argumentive note, bike looks great!!!!, what kind of rear sets are those??

Yeah, I know the plate is mounted illegally, It just looks so damn good down there....
and they don't pull over the hundreds of mine pickups with dirty plates, or cars for doing 15 km over, or dump trucks with gravel piled higher than the box, or ....
They HAVE been picking on the bikes here....
I see some of the others though, and admittedly understand why.

I'm just a little disgruntled... LOL

Thanks for the compliments guys...
Vortex rearsets bro... so sharp they almost cut ! very adjustable.
I have mine set 1 inch down, and 1 inch back from stock.
Had to mod the shifter to work with my airshifter... turned out good though.

Well I wouldn't pull over the mine truck guys either that are out working trying to make a living. I am sure someone doing 10 mph is getting stopped someplace, now the trucks with the gravel piled over the top, I would be on. That kind of crap can break windshields and cause property damage and such.

And yeah I can tell your disgruntled. Lol.
Vortex huh? Can you adjust them lower and more forward than the stock brackets????

Very clean installations. A classy ride in my book. Every thing is tastefully done even the mounting of the go juice. And yes black is the baddest.

Dubious,
Stay in Alberta brother... I have a Black 14 as well and I get stopped almost every ride out here in Ottawa. Ontario has a new new speeding law here and the cops are going absolutlely crazy with it; seems as though they are loving the absolutel power. They are able to seize, impound and keep your vehicle/bike without it ever going to court now.

http://www.cbc.ca/canada/ottawa/story/2007/10/01/ot-speed-ont-071001.html?ref=rss

"Ontario's new street-racing law goes into effect on Saturday at midnight and OPP Sgt. Cam Woolley predicts "shock and awe" over the tough new provincial legislation.

If a driver is caught going 50 kilometres over the speed limit, police have the power to impound the vehicle for seven days, issue a minimum $2,000 fine and suspend your driver's licence for seven days.

And there is no right of appeal in the case of a suspension or impoundment, police say."

Thanks guys...
I hear ya on the new rules...
The squids have done it to us ya know...
When the officers warned me of the plate location, a couple young guys pull up to the intersection nearby, yelling waving revving their engines and basically prodding the officers...
I explained " that is exactly the reason i usually ride on my own... I don't wan to be associated with that bullshit.. I enjoy riding, keep it civil around town, and on busy highways, and use some discretion...
There is a place and time for everything.... "

I also stated its too bad "the cc's are not indicative of IQ!"

They completely reciprocated respect, and appreciated my candor.

Really, i am no differnt than the 45 yr old with a restored muscle car... I am out to enjoy the day, have a good time, I ride slow (at least around the public) so everyone can have a good look, not terrorise the public and be a hazard.

I just love riding!
Leave me alone and let me ride...
If i was an asshole you would have at least seen me, if not caught me being one by now...

Don't persecute us simply because of the potential of the bike!

I had my plate mounted in the same spot on the 12 for about 3 yrs without a problem.
In the past 2 months I have been pulled over 4 times, just for that. No tickets, just to tell me I needed to move the plate. Just moved it last weekend, tired of the bs.
