You guys are just trying to make frEEk's life hard and force him to update this POS software package.. It's is a shame that the best board in the world has such outdated software.

d00d, use phpbb when you get the chance for an overhaul

a simple update to use phpbb normalyl would be quick and easy, but even if a conversion filter for the DB existed, this board has been hacked somewhat, so it wouldnt work, and creating a new one would take a while. beyond that, phpbb doesnt have some of thea features we use (at least not at last look) so i'd have to hack that too, and having hacked phpbb before i can tell u it isn't particularly pretty. finally, i dont entirely trust big distributions like phpbb because they have become TOO big and are thus occasionally vulnerable when bugs are found. they are fixed quickly enough of course, but it makes me nervous when we are an occasional target for hacking. result: when it comes time to upgrade, i'm pretty much resigned to writing our own board frmo scratch and that is definitely more time than i can find now (and possibly for a while).

Hey!...how'd you do that? Did you steal my UserID and Pswrd?...you a hacker or something? How would I secure my album? Don't want anyone to have free access to it.

Nevermind...I figured it out....privacy settings....almost had to report you for hacking....
