Probably has air in the radiator, may need to take back to dealer and have them take care of it........

mine hasn't gotten that hot yet. It does run right up to the one-below bar though. As soon as I start moving, It drops. I'll be changing to some water-wetter type stuff when I do the Brock Gen3. I'm hoping that between the different coolant and no cat, it will run somewhat cooler.

Why only one fan on the 14 though???

Yes they run hot when new. When you breifly shut it off the temp probably rose enough to put it over the top. Check the coolant level by taking the radiator cap off. Then turn your caps lock off.
You may have air in the system. Have the dealer check it or if you are comfortable with doing it yourself burp the air out.

are you saying your 14 ran hot when new, and then cooled itself down?

My 14 ran hot when stock. The biggest change came with the addition of Brock's exhaust and a PC. Since then it has never gotten more than 1 bar above center, even sitting in traffic on a 95 deg day. It runs at the center bar unless I'm going real slow, then 1 bar above. In traffic the fan cuts on and it stays 1 bar above center. Before the exhaust and PC I could hit the H mark (never blinked) if I was stopped at a red light.

I said the wrong thing. At a red light the fan cuts on and it stays 1 bar above center. When the bike is moving the fan stays off, regardless of the traffic speed. It's now 70-80 degrees in CT (hot days are gone) and it will cruise 1 bar lower than it did on a 95 degree day (1 bar above C).
