Corbin saddle ... whats the low down.
OK some of you guys have had em for at least a couple weeks now...
whats your short term test results?
I am considering the purchase , mostly because i want the sissy bar for my daughter.
I am concerned about the cup effect the outer ridges create.
Do they dig into your thighs at lights when your legs are down?
is the seat much lower than stock? how much lower?
would you recommend lowering the pegs, or is that a necessity?
legs cramped or not,
please give your height and inseam for reference.
no other appendage dimensions necessary thanks!
thanks guys!

Well the ridges do not cut into the sides. Due to the width of the seat i feel I get a little more leg room. It is a different feel and you have to a couple hundred miles on it to get used to it, but I really like it. Once you get used to it, you can hang off just like normal. In fact the seat makes you sit in the proper position. You can move up or back or side to side. I'm 6'0' 200 lbs.

Having a skinny ass the Corbin saddle is just to hard for me ...Feels like setting a 2 by 6 to me.. I find the stock seat to be very nice to my back side ...

DAMN, thats not cheap. I dig the backrest though, I might have to get that for my wife.
Any idea if you have to buy their seat to use the backrest?

Why don't you look up a local upholstery shop. That's what Im doing. There's one in my hometown that also does motorcycle seats. I sent him a picture of what I wanted and talked to him about lowering the seat, using gel, and sculting it so I dont slide off. Gonna be about $300. They can recover it in anything you want, it might cost more. Look in the yellow pages, you might be suprised.
