No airshifter or NOS for another 2 weeks, at least!!

Just talked to Dave Turner at Muzzy. He said that they won't have the CO2 airshifter or the Dry nitrous kit ready for the ZX14 for at least another two weeks!!!!!
I'm getting tired of waiting. I think I'm gonna go elsewhere for both and just fabricate some mounts. Anybody else got any suggestions???

There's gotta be a way to "motivate" old Rob to hire more people and pay them more money. He outsources way too much these days, and this is what happens. Long delays on parts, usually because they come back as substandard or don't fit, and they have to make them all over again.

Installed a airshifter i got from Scnitz, works great. I use a19oz paintball tank with a mps regulator. They also have the plugs for the coils so you dont have to cut your wires.

Hey bu can you send me some pics of your install?? I particularly interested in how you mounted the shift mechanism. Do you need some sort of special regulator to run CO2?? and will the D.O.T. tank be ok to fill with CO2?
Can you get CO2 filled at a welding shop?

yea i'll see what i can do...you can get them filled at a paintball shop or i get mine filled at duhnams sporting goods...2.36$...last about a months worh of dragracing. The shifter is mounted straight to the frame with a bolt. and spring as a spacer. You want alittle flex in there. I tapped the frame put a bolt on it to tighten it to the frame...thread lock...spring...air cylinder..thats it.

Cool, just need some pics of the mount for the shifter too the frame and the shifting mechanism. And a parts list of where you got the stuff. You can use my PM if you want.
We don't have paintball places here in Louisiana, we use real guns, LOL.
Might have to go with Nitrogen, but gotta have the tank and regulator.
I ordered a NOS system from Schnitz. Getting a 2 1/2lb bottle. Now I really need an airshifter.
