I ran the smeg no flies A/C in map today, bike is way fat! I lost another 12% fuel mileage. I gotta go back to the one I started mapping! Maybe it's the Diff. in altitude? I o'laid the maps alot more fuel in the Brock map.

yes I noticed that Bill.
Brock sent me a map just before I got yours, and asked me to run it.
Wanted some feedback.
when I get time I will give yours a a more thorough test,
I noticed his was rich a low / closed throttle positions, and low rpm, idle.
No glaring problems otherwise, i don't have a a/f sensor though.

GTr ... it would be great if you check that out!.
LOL I hacked my vent hose to the airbox, and plugged it up, plates on the head.
PIA to reinstall, if not necessary.
I need to buy smaller allen wrench sockets, 3/8 drive is too bulky in there.
Thanks!

I'm at work now, and had no problems with the kleen plug installed. Runs just like it did before with just a little less popping. The idle isn't as smooth as it was, but I'm so used to it from every other modded sport bike I have ever owned. But oh the torque available at almost any RPM's. I LOVE IT!!!

"Nuke dog:
It will be good... I'd venture to say reasonably stronger than the busa ever was below 5000, and as we all know stock it is substansially stronger up top."

What will be good? The 2008 or next Busa when they re-tool the bike? Hell yes it will.

PS- Stock sucks...

Great thread here guys...let me add a few things I learned today...

I called Hindle to find out about the different headers available from them/Brock. The pipes all of you got were the race pipes, the only ones that Brock really uses...but there is another set of pipes (Street) which are 1.5" most all the way through, instead of 1 3/4 down a bit off the ports. The race pipes are designed more for the track with more power at higher RPM and a bit under the stock curve at lower RMP's. My concern has always been low end power as the 14 makes more than enough power at high RPM....so I'll go with the street pipes instead....which should somewhat produce less high end power than the race pipes but more bottom end torque. Hindle claims that they are more streetable and IMO they probably have less issue with LOW RPM driveability than the race/stepped pipes.

My plan is to get a PC3 ASAP, remove the flies again and richen up a bit on bottom, until I can get the complete system from Brock, which may be a while yet due to availability. I'll remap then with the pipes/ignition module and PC3 once I have it all...I'm just looking for a map with stock pipes and flies removed...my understanding is that the ignition module will not be able to set timing in each gear, but is global?

BTW, there are ZERO driveability issues with the flies removed and the stock pipes....nothing at all...no stumble at 800 RPM either...just becomes more apparent that timing needs to be done, that's all.

I'm anxious to change my exhaust and have PC installed, I usually do that at mid-breakin. Geez I'd like all the "issues" resolved and a competitive array of products on the market that are tried and true.... I'm just uncomfortable at this point, but hating the diesel rig stacks Kawi put on....

Not anymore fastest, dyno jet is set to release their new multi function hub (checkout their site), it will allow every gear to have it's own timing and fuel curve and it will have a selection switch to change from street map to race mapp, I think this is the reason for the delay on the real zx14 PC's and they may be adding a 2ndary fly adjust option to their software also, but I'm not for sure on the flies.

Swiftkart is right that multi hub is going to be the shiznit. I cant wait. That will solve the problem i think with the flys in. Brock and the crew ran out of pc3 so i have to wait for their next shipment. Good thing i told them to send the mega.

I'm hearing the end of next week for the real zx14 pc's from DJ so I would wait a week, but maybe he knows that and will be sending you the real deal, I decided to wait.

burton,

Thanks for the reply. I still have a little bit of a stumble upon easy take-off. Power is definately different with the plate back in. Your right, the map feels good and the bike sure didn't loose anything over 5 grand with the plates back in, very strong up top. Again, thanks for the reply.
