"ZX-14 Thrill Night" on Speed Channel - WEDNESDAY!!
Just saw a rather long commercial on Speed Channel while watching the auction tonight... They said that Wednesday night is "ZX-14 Thrill Night". They listed the normal Wednesday night lineup, but said:
"Wednesday is a special night on Speed. It's the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 thrill night... programming blah blah blah blah... plus get an inside look at the bike everyone is talking about. The most powerful bike Kawasaki's ever built. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14 thrill night. Wednesday, only on Speed."
It didn't sound like any particular program was dedicated to the ZX-14, but they did show a collage of many of the commercial video clips that we have seen. Who knows what it will shape up to be, but I've got it set to record...

This coming wednesday right ?? Im watching the auction to see if I can catch
the preview maybe if they show it again. During the races superbike races
this past sunday and the gps also almost every commercial was the 14 one.
where the bike flys around in flashes. I would say they showed it 6 times easy.
And I was saying why are they paying for that many commercials if you can barley
find them in certain areas. Do they know something we don't like 2007 has been
prepared and ready for september ??????????????????

No bullshit, it's for real. They didn't give an actual date, but they said "Wednesday" about 5 times, so it's gotta be this upcoming Wednesday.

I Watched the speed channel last night, Wednesday, and saw the same "preview" that you did, but that's was it. No ZX14 stuff, other than the commercial. Must be another Wednesday during the week that I'm not aware of. Oh yea, the Wednesday that comes after Friday. Doh!!! What was I thinking.

I just saw it again it is this coming wednesday June 28th. Not sure what time they said.
I think it was something like 8 or 9 O' Clock east coast time. I saw the preview it is for
real that much I will tell you. I never saw anything like this before on a production bike.

The ad mentions the "Superbikes" program, but in the preview for that program there is no mention of the ZX-14. We'll see...

Im telling you I saw the preview it is a special about the ZX14. They showed
clips from the special it is all about the ZX14. Don't miss it. I will be burning it to
disk for sure. Then people that miss it I can send a copy to.

I never heard them mention anything about superbikes. The sneak peak they
gave you was clips of the 14 flying by,smoking the tire ect. They said this is a
look at the most powerfull motorcycle Kawasaki has ever made so watch closley.

Yes, but they didn't mention whether or not the ZX-14 was going to be part of one specific program. The "Superbikes" program clip only showed some old (non-faringed) bike, not a ZX-14. The ZX-14 video that they showed during the commercial was all Kawi-marketing footage from television ads that we have all seen already.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens on Wednesday...

Probably a bunch of ZX-14 Infomercials put together from press launches. I'm not expecting anything spectacular so if it is, I'll be surprised. If it's not I won't be disappointed. Tie ins between shows all night is another possibility. Still it's great that Kawi is promoting the 14 aggressively.

I said it is this comming wednesday the 28th so you didn't miss it.

from what I saw they are having a show all about the bike and it's unvailing.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but I'm recording it anyway. Whether or not I burn it to a disc depends on the final result... we'll see... but based on the ad I saw, it's all stock footage.

OK I just saw it again it is this wednesday at 8:00 PM eastern time. I am only
guessing but it looks like it might be good. If it is all footage I have seen then
I will be pissed. They just called it ZX14 speed night or some shit like that...

I taped the "ZX14 Thrill Night" commercial last night while I suffered through a whole installment of "Superbikes" waiting for the Dude-for-a-Day Contest "Code Word" that they said would be revealed, but which was never mentioned (then found out they have the code word already entered in the online contest form (it's "Yamaha"). I set up the VCR tonight, but the lineup they mentioned last night didn't materialize on my TV, and it wasn't even consistent with their own online schedule listings. None of the shows that did come on had anything to do with ZX14. I think I understand it all, though. Based on the content and production values of "Superbikes" and commercials for non-existent programming, one is forced to conclude that these folks are hopeless amateurs who can't get anything right, and that it's probably a blessing for Kawasaki that they don't really have a ZX14 program.
