Pics.. LSL clip ons , lowered 1" frt, 2.5" rear
Well it took me about 4 hrs total for the clip ons.
Had to fab 3 new brakets,2 for the resevoirs, and a bracket to relocate the frt brake line block.
Adjust them for clearance and raise the forks 1 inch so they could be installed, transfer levers and switch blocks, install new grips.
Not to sure about the red tubes... think I will change them for gold.
The rise is about 2 inch at the triple clamp, and about 4 inches at the grips... less downward sweep, and about 2 inches closer to seat ...less angleback.
Installed schnitz adjustable links, twice the price of muzzy's but can adjust them for extended swingarm if I decide to go that route.
I also installed he 16 tooth sproket which allowed me to push the axle back another inch.
It pulls like a raped ape, yet the front is very planted, It does not lift in second anymore and barely lifts in 1st gear.
The lowered wheelbase really makes a huge difference!
I can't say enough about how planted the frt end feels now.. really hammer it in 1st without worries of looping!.... even with 16 dagger on the frt!
Pipe, and speedo healer next week!
Stock for comparison...

I would not want it any lower for the roads around here... 3" clearance.

The red tubes have gotta go!
Oh yeah, I gotta get shorter side stand, it sits almost verticle now.... scary!

Thanks.
The clip ons arn't as clean, or pretty as stock but way more comfy!
I truly could ride her all day long without pain now.
The tubes didn't come with insterts so i will have to source them out... I like the low vibes from the heavy stock bar ends.
Unsure if I want the undertail or not....
Forgot a pick of the links installed:

dubious: How does it handle corners, does it want to push in the front, and did you increase spring pre-load to keep it from bottoming under hard braking.
Going straight is fun but so is apex hunting

It seems good, really windy today, so little bit harder to tell.
( the wind picked up the patio set umbrella and it touched down houses away... our fences are 6' high!)
Yes increased preload and i think that is why it feels like it is pushing a little, gonna tighten up the shock preload a little, and if that doesn't work , back off the fork preload slightly.
I'll have to play with it a bit.
If I have to, I will raise the rear to balance it back out.
Since they adjust on the bike, I can move em for drag racing on drag day.

forgot to mention that not many twisties where I live , and roads are rough so I don't push too hard here at home.
Chicken strips are about 1/2 inch wide due to road construction, and dirt etc.

What did you do with your kickstand? I chopped and rewelded the one on my 12R, and didn't think I wanted to do all that again on this bike after lowering the back, but don't want to pay $180 for the billet adjustable either.

I lower mine last night 3 in the rear and 1 1/4 in the front ...I cut 1 1/2 inchs out of my kick stand and rewelded it ...It sets pretty good now, just about factory .... I could or should have cut 2 inchs to be safe ....But after i add 4 inchs to the swing arm that will raise the rear a bit and the stand should be just about right ...
