I still have a nice oval burn mark on my arm. Lesson # 2 : leave your jacket on when putting air in tires.

I remember my 98 9r - kept seeing these black lines on the muffler when I cleaned the bike every week and couldn't figure out what they were for bout a month. Turns out the muffler was hot enough to burn the rubber offa the fuel pump hose at the gas station when I was re-fueling and the hose would brush up against the muffler.

My daughter's shoes make nice little marks on the pipes. I found my 5 year old using the pipes for a footrest and had to relocate her foot back to the peg.

This bike has burnt me more than any bike I've had and thats quite a few. I got a nice one on my right forerm now, Damn they get hot. The cats hold to much heat. I can't wait to get this exhaust off. Titanium is cool, in more ways than one.

I got used to having huge cans on my ZZR, so these haven't bothered me too much.
