IVAN'S TRE TESTED! , Save your money.

I gotta be honest , I guess I was looking for the silver bullet fix and got a bb instead. It makes a very, very small difference. I almost Think I would rather have my gear indicator work as apossed to the wee difference in pick up of the throttle. Now if we could just reprogram that darn ECU or get that second plate to work sooner!

I believe it tricks the ECU into believing the bike is in 6th all the time, thereby making more power available.

Thanks for the heads up Kenny.
The bike is new. Give the computer boffins a little time. Where there is $$ to me made, someone will have an aftermarket fix. It may take some time to do it properly. I can wait.

it thinks its in 5th, so full timing advance for all gears.

Thanks for the heads up!

The indicator reads either 0 in neutral, or 5 in all other gears.
The ECU is fooled to think its in 5th so that the engine gets full timing advance.

The large power dip under 5K isn't the result of timing only (if at all), so no TREEEEEEEEEE's gonna make any difference...we need an ECU firmware mapping fix.

Wait for the (..wide band)... to come out, with a 20 minute read out ,so you can fine tune after a short ride and then you can adjust between gears, to do away with the low end responce..

The "wide band" PC is not going to have the ability to open the secondary butterfly in lower gears... that's not going to fix our problem. It's not entirely a fuel mixture issue on these bikes like bikes of the *past*.

The 14 is set in 6th gear all the time not 5th, 6th suppose to be the best fuel/ignition curve on the 14.

The worst part of it is you lose (3) of the trick items on the 14, you lose the gear indicator, shift light and launch light.
