Our ZX-14 exhaust systems are arriving sometime this week, and I'm hoping to have more pix of the 3 different systems up on our site shortly. I've been so crazy-busy with testing, design and production of parts for the 14, that I haven't had much time to much else. Won't be long...

Thanks Brock what else are you coming out with for the 14? Have you test the 14 with the ignition advance module yet?

Hey Brock...

I talked to Jim, your sales rep today.... are they comin this week or end of month or what?

I wanted to give him my visa and pay $$$$$$$ now so i get a street meg system as soon as it comes in...

don't want a miss the boat !

Do the wires have to be moved on the bikes harness, or can they be moved on the PC3 if i decide to get the zx10 Pc and rewire?
Don't really want ot mess with the stock harness!

I'm gonna pick up the pipe, pc3, front strap, shinko, dog bones if ya got em , and have my ear to the ground for a good stretched swing arm.

What do you think of swingarm extensions?..... they don't seem right to me.

gettin set for the CMDRA races this year, and want to contest the series seriously next summer!
(CMDRA= Canadain motorcycle drag racing assoc.)

Thanks..
Lyle

Guys,
We will have a small shipment arrive this Wed. May 24 to get pipes out to the guys who are dying to smack the boys around at Myrtle Beach Bike Week.

We have a list that is very full, but there will still be some systems available if you get on the list ASAP.

We will also have modified ZX-10 power commanders with maps available...the exact same set-up I run in my ZX-14. There are no changes required to the stock harness, our zero map is actually zero and our ground wire is in a perfect location for the 14.

Please call 937-298-6818 to be placed on the list or e-mail our sales staff : sales@brockracing.com

A larger pipe shipment should arrive the beginning of next month .

The ignition module testing is in the works and my Dragshock by Ohlins arrived today!

We also plan to upset the apple cart with a new rear lowering link design to be introduced with our ZX-14 product line. We also have a special Alisyn Aerospace oil formulated for the additional power the 14 produces.

I think over 5 to 6 lbs lighter. Comparing stainless to stainless. Muzzys doesnt have full Ti systems yet.. Called them several times.. Theres are over 13lbs and Brocks is around 8lbs.. Brock Hindle pipes are less noisy as well.. Check them out on Brocks article on Dragbike.com

I find it hard to believe that a stainless system is only 8 lbs. EVERY Ti system I've had was 8-10 lbs., Arata included.

Agreed. If someone were to make a stainless system, with a Ti or Carbon Fiber muffler that truly weighed 8 lbs complete, there would be no reason in the world to ever make Ti systems again and that manufacture would truly have something special... The Muzzy system coming in at 13 lbs is very good.

I just made a one-off full system for a client. Thin gauge titanium, very thin wall 21" carbon shell with ti end caps, ti core, minimal packing material. It weighed 8 lbs, 3 oz. without the exhaust port spigots/flanges and springs. Add at least another 1 lb for the spigots/flanges, springs.

If the OEM header weighs 40lbs. and you install anyones stainless aftermarket header that weighs 15lbs. OK, lets see 15-40=25lbs. !!!...Thats not enough weight savings for you guys???

I say lose 25lbs. of body fat then think of all the $$$ in food you saved and what you would spend on exotic light weight metals to put on your bikes inplace of OEM metal items...

Anyway, go ahead and eat a dozen buffalo wings and 6 beers

Sorry Guys,
There is misprint in our store. We switched to a dual filament wrapping in the mufflers a while back which added additional some weight, but added a much better sound with NO packing burnout . We have also slightly changed the wall thickness/construction of our front sections which vary from bike to bike.

Here are the latest system weights for the 2006 ZX-14 Generation 3 Oval systems:

FYI: These weights were determined using our small (50 lb max/2 oz increment) UPS Shipping scale
...... my triple beams won't measure high enough!

2006 ZX-14 system Ultra Light Stainless Steel Front Section:
1. 1-2 primary = 2 lb., 6 oz.
2. 3-4 primary = 2 lb., 6 oz.
3. Secondary collector = 1 lb., 4 oz.
4. 4 Flanges with springs = 1 lb., 2 oz.

Total Front section = 8 lb., 0 oz.

(Next) Generation 3, 20 inch Titanium Oval Muffler = 3 lb., 4 oz.
(Next) Generation 3, 20 inch Titanium Carbon Muffler = 3 lb., 4 oz.

Total Generation 3 system weight with Muffler (Ti, or Carbon) = 11 lb., 4 oz.

FYI:
Street Megaphone Muffler with Baffle = 3 lb., 4 oz. (Same total weight as above)

Street Megaphone NO Baffle = 1 lb., 14 oz.
Total Street Megaphone System Weight in Full Race Trim = 9 lb., 14 oz.

I hope this clears up any questions and sorry for the mix-up!
