I'll tell you what, I'll buy the bike from you Drowland. I am still yet to see the bike or get a call from y dealer and i'm damn near to the point where the 06 GSXR 1000 will find itself a home real quick. what color is your bike? Hopefully not red.

I guess I will chime in----80 degrees Sat and really did not notice any heat on my legs. Got stuck in traffic once and the temp indicator had one bar above mid point and never got any higher. Compared to my Busa's, I think it handles very well. As everyone says, there is nobody home in the lower rpm's but I think with rideing time most of us will overcome that. Its just there will be no such thing as "freindly" roll ons. In any racing situation, even with freinds, you had better be serious. Lie---tell em your in fourth and really be in second. Overall (even after a three month wait with no bike and the 14 totally paid for) I am a very happy camper.

The seat height feels the same as the ZX12R. I think it is about 1 inch lower according to magazines. In the real world, I'm not convinced that 1 inch is noticable. I can't notice it but....I'm 6'5...

Thanks TJ.

I think they have it running overly lean for emissions, when you richen her up, she'll cool down a little.

bitch bitch bitch....................????????????????????
when due diligence & a modicum of homework not done

no one ... not one single publication has said the 14
would be.... could be........ or was a supersport bike

the last year 12 would be a better candidate !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
check out the last 3 issues of "performance bike"
out of the uk
only recently has the 12 started to slip from 3rd
thats right "Third" !!!!!!!(not turd) Place !!!!!!!!!

the 12 still a better running & Handling bike than most !!!!!

one look at the 14 clearly indicates a penchant
for Top & Straight line speed !!!!!!!!!!
drag racing & the Crown of the mostest & fastest

so quit your whining
you obviously has more money than sense
you bought the wrong bike

..she's much calmer than my '04 10r was on the same roads-both corners and straight-aways that I know and love..much more refined than my '02 12r was.on those 400k rides..top of the heap for relaxed, high speed or even normal speed travel..totally confidence inspiring maybe @ the cost of adrenalin...I'm getting older so now I want comfort as well as performance..this little 14 is gonna be a great platform.. dyin' for a few small mods...16 tooth tomorrow..awaiting the low-end ecu re-program switch...when you guys out there make one...
