American Honda Announces Four More 2010 Models
Honda has released four more 2010 models covering the sport, standard, and cruiser sectors. The core of the sport line get small updates with the CBR600RR just getting one new color schemes, and the CBR1000RR getting the same plus a few other small improvements. A new beginner/standard bike arrives in the form of the NT700V, and lightweight cruisers get a new Shadow Phantom. Images and full details follow...

Also who is getting them? I've been looking for an inside scoop on which dealer gets them first. usually its an ultra-hi volume dealer such as southernhonda.com
My 600RR needs a break from full touring, I've don'e over 6000 miles on it thus far in two months of living here in the mountains for the summer.

You know Honda has that secret skill almost down to a science. The new Accord crossover was hidden pretty well from both public and industry a-like. I wonder if the shots of the VFR in the desert got someone fired??

I the the little NT700 is pretty cool . if the price is right I think it would be a great bike for people who want to start touring but don't want or can't afford a concourse or an ST .
I myself wouldn't want one but it does have coolness factor ____________ '06 Passion Red ZX-14 ressurected....

They stuck with the current cbr 600 for a fourth year.
I thought that Yamaha was in a slump with the R6
but Honda is quick to follow.

actually they changed the 600RR in '09 (compared to 07-08) and it lost a couple of HP. Few other minor differences, a lot of parts aren't interchangeable as well. I was really dissapointed. I've put a LOT of touring miles on my 600RR and was thinking about a new one but I'm going to pass. R6 is too uncomfortable for me because I'm tall.
I'm going to look at a touring bike next. I did over 14 hours on the RR through west virginia one day and was almost too sore to ride it back to NC the next day.

yeah I've had my share of gixxers and a ZX14s too, great bikes indeed
and Yamaha's too

what are you considering as a touring bike steve?
VMAX? or more of like Concourse
Also i dont like what they did with the 1000RR honda. I was hoping they would
change the body style this year coming. All the brands need to get back to creating
attractive bikes as well as performers.

Must have been a lot of short legs on that trip because my 14 with double stacked helibars wasn't even all that great and i only did a 500 mile day, a 650 mile day, and a 450 mile day. Given, a lot of it was high speed desert in late june, but there were also some nice mountain sweepers in new mexico and california.

would have been a lot better if i had someone to share it with lol. I set out with a jacket a helmet and a tank bag with a couple pairs of clothes and some tools. Someone tried to steal my bike in tucson and broke the front fender with my disk lock, but other than that it was a great trip. Spanked a black and gold gsxr1000 crossing white sands NM in an 80-186mph roll on . Oh yeah... i averaged 48-52mpg on my way out here.
