Got STUNG by a "KILLA BEE"!!!
Was out riding my brandy NEW ZX10 a couple nites ago when this one eyed yellow R1 rolled up on me. I figured I'd pull the trigger on this dude & "WHOA" He left me like I was running on 3 cylinders. After gettin lit up several more times & throwin in the towel we pulled over & he told me that he'd posted pics & specs of that nasty R1 on this site. I found it and that is a very nasty ride. Seemed like a knowledgable cat. So, I figured I'd check out the site & c what was up. I'm throwin an akro pipe, PC5 & a BMC with a tune on this 10 and maybe I'll have alil better result next time.

Fish He actually mentioned you by name. Told me to say hello to you. Said u were a good guy. Said some things about a Steve, Adam & someone of the law enforcement persuasion but, I'll leave that alone.

Well, I'll form my opinions as I go. I'd really like to know what kind of power is to be gotten from a tuned ZX10 w/ akro pipe & BMC? Am I gonna b able to catch that R1 that he rode or am I just burnin $3000.00 on pipe,PC5, BMC & a tune?
I'll tell him hello but, gotta catch him first! So, alil help?

no one here has a crystal ball.,... I will telll you as a ZX-10R owner and 30 years of riding and reading and loving motorcycle horsepower that those mopds will wake up your ZX-10R....with power comander and a bit of gearing you will fly.....but do it because you like the gains....
there is always someone quicker or with more mods out there...

Well, I know the 10 is making 160ish HP at the wheel. Now, Akro claims their pipe will put that at 176hp. Which I find alil bit hard to believe. So, I'm figuring someone's done this set-up & I'm curious as to real world #'s ???
I did run across a 08 CBR1K, he was runnin a full akro pipe, TRE, PC3usb with a tune. We ran from a roll and he got a 2 bike jump on me but, by the time I'd stretched out 4th gear I'd pulled & passed him. He said his peak hp# was 170hp. I thought that might have been alil "optimistic". But, there r some dyno shops around here that r known for their "Happy" Dynos.
As far as catchin that one eyed yellow R1? Well, he said he was puttin 175hp to the whl. That thing left me, to qoute him "Like Christ left the Jews". Ya I know, he wasn't exactly politically correct. Just really fast.

I wish that freaking one-eyed yellow pussybee would run-up on my 10 like that. He would see nothing but a taillight and the rear of my green Kawasaki Race Jacket. His 175hp ain't nothing for my ZX-10 pure nut !!! How bout 18?ish hp........

I have ran across a couple of guys who have been stung by this menace. They've had 200+hp Busas' & 14s'. They agreed that playin with the Killa Bee was not fun. I can attest to that personally. lol....

ZXBarbarian10R, I know his R1 makes mad power with all the engine work. I doubt your 3K will match it but who knows until you run them. No matter what he put in the engine, that whole bike is just "right". Sure it'll drag race but it's also got the mad track suspension and body.
And I was serious about "give him my regards". I through a lot of fish bait BS out there on Honda's 08 BS bike in this Kawi forum and such and he took me so serious. Glad the others didn't!

Well, Wreckshop? What yr. u got? What did you do to get that 180ish RWHP? Please don't tell me u got a pipe, PC & A/C & Dyno'ed . If u haven't cracked that motor I'm gonna say you got a ride on a very "Happy" Dyno.

Put the Full Akro Ti Pipe on W/ KN & PC5. I'm gonna try & get it tuned next week.
