2004 ZX-10R BEST BATTERY??
I imagine oem is the best....lasted 4 years...anyone find a better battery than factory or better price than what a Kawasaki dealer offers??..

There are about three battery manufacturers in the world. All the different brands are just rebranded, and made by one of the three...
Get a AGM battery (the technology used, not a brand name). Don't waste time with a gel (OEM was a gel) battery, AGM blows them away.
It's a 12B-BL (not to be confused with a 12-BL). The cheapest in-stock alternative I found was an OEM Yamaha battery, a 12-B4 for $64.
AGM batteries can be shipped UPS.

Get a "Varta LF" it's the best money can buy and plus it has more CCA than any other battery brand that will fit you application !!!

Not too sure about OEM being the best, but I have no complaints. Mine's still going strong. April of '04.

I think oem is not bad....I never store for winter....that is a minus.....I left on charger a whole day and it is doing ok as of yesterday....but one more let down and she is history...
still debating for now....will see...Varta is overseas?..shipping $$ ?
