I have the link but you have to buy a subscription to read it.

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=motorcyclenews.esubs.issue

What I did was I captured screen shots then hosted the jpegs.

Take my word for it or not, your choice... those are the screen shots, only modification done being to merge pages together where a pic crossed 2 pages.

That is no kidding. Even I would opt to get rid of that exhaust before I even rode it, noisy or not.

Less prone to wheelie, that is a step backwards to me. I can't imagine it getting much easier to ride. Although more power has a nice appeal. The good part is I read nothing that would make me want to replace my current bike. No I'm thinking one of Kerry's pipes and a thin head gasket will do the trick for me.

Did anyone else find the comment that "the centre of gravity has been raised to make the bike turn in quicker" a bit odd?

We'll see what it looks like for sure in a few weeks or months.

It sounds odd but I have read that exact same analysis a number of times over a considerable period of time. I confess to not understanding it.

It is certainly the case though that for racebikes it is NOT believed that lower is always better. Rather there's a certain understood approximate ideal, which is not as low as where the CG might be put if one wanted to. In some cases, as here, teams choose to raise the CG from where it had been, and with there at least sometimes being claims of the reason being, as here, quicker turn-in.

I dont care what it looks like stock. With the help of some after market exhaust and other junk it will look pretty. The most important thing is its faster, quiker, and comes out of corners faster.Although I will be skipping this generation.

Yea I think a nice rebate model 2005 might be the way to go at this point.

question, why if the indicators are in the rear view mirrors ala gsxr... why are there indicators still where the old ones are now?

Did I miss something? Okay so the pipes are miff yes! The gsxr came out this year with a miff pipe but at least it was 'revelutionary' in shape etc. These two pipes on this so-called '06 10R look like they came off of a delivery bike! Theres nothing special about them, the round and funny colored, at least if they were oval or triangles or friggen octaginals then maybe but geeeez! And they got little outlets too, kinda like a 2 stroke, not cool.

For now I remain sceptical!
