Ur 10R been confused with a 6R?
I had the pleasure to drive my nephews ZX10R, and Here I am heading home; chilling and cruising at 70MPH around 11pm when some dumb guy passes me at about 110 on what appeared to be a 900RR or ZX9, couldnt really tell. I downshifted to catch up to him, when I was right behind him; he glanced back to see that I was around. So here I am looking for the cars to clear out and give me a chance to gun the 10, the dude sees an opening and guns it and so do I. I took off in 4th gear and when I shifted to 5th I was killing him by passing him like he was parked,. The funny thing is that this guy is wearing his helmet ,wearing shorts , has a spare helmet on the side of the back seat and the biggest mistake is that I bet he thought I was riding the Ninja 600R. After I beat his sorry ass I slowed down for him to catch up and he just exited on another ramp .Sorry dude that was big brother. Got to know who ur racing first right?

I have not ever had my 10R mistaken for a 6R. I think it's because the 6R does not come in black.
For some reason everyone seems to know exactly what it is. I think I like it that way.

FYI...I have seen the 6R 636 in Black...

Huh. I haven't seen one, but maybe I just confused it for a 10R? Kidding. Guess I learned something I didn't know. Could have sworn the 6R colors this year were Candy Thunder Blue, Lime Green, Pearl Blazing Orange, and Galaxy Silver.

I had a guy on a ZX10 drive up to me and as me how I liked my 10 R and why I got the green one, I laughed at him and drove away on my 03 ZX6RR.......what a bafoon.....lol
the 03 ZX6R(636) comes in almost the same color Black as the 04 ZX10 R, I have 2 buddies tha thave them.....

When I started seeing the 10R's on the showroom i was also confused by the honda CBR600, they made a black one too and man; everytime I saw one on the other side of the freeway I would break my head to see if it was the 10R allready on the street, but after paying close attention to the exhaust under the seat I knew it was a Honda. At night its very hard to tell what kind of bike one's riding, . Thats why I kinda played with the guy I raced. Now a days the 600's look almost identical to the 1000's, so we gotta pay a lil closer attention to the stickers.

Yep, me too.
Seems like the R6 guys are the most susceptible to this lil scenario - I've had 4 of em try to race me, kinda funny listenin to em wind up through third about the time the 10 is startin ta breathe in second.
