O/T Damage to my clearcoat on my Durango...
So some birdshit and some leaves sat on Durango while I was gone in Europe and have left several spots in my Durango's clearcoat that are damaged.. I used Novus steps 3 and 2 and the blotches are still there.. they are smooth now, but the clearcoat appears to be ruined... is there anything I can do to clean this up? anything at all other than repainting?

If the clearcoat is damaged you're screwed.

Don't know if you have ever tried wetsanding, but that will most likely save you from a respray.Bird shit is acidic. No way it went through your clear though. May even be worth taking it to a detailer, let them tell you what to do. Sorry to hear Fish, good luck

I have the claybar, but it looks to me like the clearcoat is pitted now... I'll definetly email him.
