Let's look at it. A few Aussies out there at the moment:
Matt Mladin
Troy Bayliss
Troy Corser
Gary McCoy
Chad Reed
the Gobert boys
Me (haha)
Then of course there was Mick Doohan.
Maybe there is something in our water...

I think some of these Aussies and Yanks are faster than me. Not sure though. We've never gone head to head on a racetrack.

I'm better than all you MoFo's.
Think its pretty even, the US riders that I thought were really good came from the 80's, Edwards is probably my favourite rider at the moment, amazing watching him when he was in the superbikes, Hayden to.
Doohan is just a dead set legend, a little bias I know but he was awesome playing with peoples minds and superior at looking after his tyres.

Hmm?
What about the Italians? The Spanish? Why do they regularly kick ass in MotoGP?
Why do Germans seem to excel in Formula 1?
Why to the French suck at everything except croissants?

Me rookie ?? Suppose so....
That James "bubba' Steward is amazing. I see him waste the field regularly. We don't get our own motocross rounds on TV but we do get the US stuff.

question should be: who would win in a no-rules bare knuckle boxing on the blue line.
Lets put the two sides on skates in a good 'ol Canadian game of hockey.

John Koczinski.
The fact that he's also an Arkie (despite his attempt to run away) has nothing to do with my posting his name here.

So, let's take the number of great riders and compare, shall we?
Matt Mladin 1
Troy Bayliss 1
Troy Corser 1
Gary McCoy 1
Chad Reed 1
the Gobert boys 2(?)
Total: 7
The Bostroms 2
The Haydens 3
The Roberts 3
Ricky Carmichael 1
Kevin Windom 1
Bubba Stewart 1
John Koczinaki 1
John Chandler 1
Total: 13
Germans: Besides Alex Hoffman? Ummm...none.
Know why Mladin isn't in MotoGP? 'cause he knows he can't hang.
