Did I waste my money?
Hello all.
A little help please.
I have just a Micron Slip-on and soon I'll get an Airfilter.
I bought a PCIII the other day and wonder if I should put it on?
I will most likely not get a full exhaust or any other real performance items (mabey a smaller front sproket)
Should I just sell the PCIII or will I see some gains by installing it?
Thanks for your help!

The gains with just a slip on for standard street use would not be worth it for me, I would sell and stash the money back for rubber or gear. The sprocket will give ya much more bang for the buck . . . . we all come down with "purchase ivy" every now and then so don't sweat it even if ya keep the thing. Throw it on the shelf and give it some more thought, it's not eating anything . . . later.

I have just a Muzzy slip-on and with a pciii. After a custom map I got an additional 6 hp. The throttle response is also much smoother. Seems like it was worth it to me.

I just have a Akrapovic slip-on and BMC filter. With just one or the other installed, the bike ran rough. Together she runs smooth as silk. I have zero plans to get a PCIII.

Well if I can get results like this then I will have it installed for sure.
Any other feedback out there from people who have a PCIII installed?
Thanks for your help!

the PC can only help your bike run at its optimum.....if it is mapped right.....it wont hurt it any, IF ITS MAPPED RIGHT......

IF IT'S MAPPED RIGHT,I too have a slip on runs great,I've seen guys getting terrible gas mileage with power commanders. So you have to have it set up right.I personally don't think the bike needs anything I love it.Of course just my opinion.

I gained 4 HP by adding the PC to my drilled stock can. There were more gains to be had but I had to cut my dyno time short.
