I will continue to ride mine as well....I have notified my dealer as to the recal and he is "looking into it". He has said that when he gets the info I will be the first for the front wheel. I have a track day scheduled later this month and I fully intend on riding the 10 at the track, as I sold my 6RR and this is now my track bike.....

I hear the 05 comes with no front wheel!
(they do not want to deal with wheel suppiers anymore) You have the option of buying whatever frontwheel you so desire!!

Damn I wish I had a garage full of spares ,but I don't so I will ride the black bitch like I stole her.Just the way she likes it.Saw the dealer bulletin unless your bike vin # is 000490 or less the recall is for you.

Talked to dealor today. They didn't know about this. He looked it up, said I'd have frist rim in the door.

Well I'm back from Road America. The front wheel held up just fine. Short of doing stoppies or slamming down errant wheelies, I think I've just put about as much stress on the front as I ever will. I'm officially done worrying about it.

I agree with both of you, and 12RPilot thanks for the Road America update. My wheel will get done whenever I get around to it. Now, about the fork seal......

Berts Motorcycle Mall in LA - the biggest dealer in the US - got only 1 wheel kit, which the service manager took... NO MORE COMMING UNTIL SEPT!!
Damn right you better be riding !

Canadian here - got the call from the dealer yesterday - can't fir it in until nrxt week - rode the bike 200 miles toay - HARD - no problems. Go for it!!
There are NO REPORTS of wheel failure, or what the probelm is - RIDE the f*cker~!!!!!!!!
