I wonder if the serial numbers are grouped by color seein how 7869 and 7870 are black.

Yah, they prolly do a run of each color bodywork and then throw it on the bike.
So what's better, the first bike or the last?
First bike - Prolly five or six trips back and forth on the line to get everything to fit right.
Last bike - It's made from all those parts that didn't fit!

kz2zx, I live in Charlestown(Boston). ZX is garaged in Wakefield, race SV 650 is garaged in Belmont NH. Talk about a pain in the ass whenever I want to work on either bike. Sucks! But I do like living in the city. ZooMass Huh? Great school - alot of noteworthy grads. I went to Plymouth State in NH. Where are you now?
Swft - I believe they started our run at 869! LOL

Mine is 7718. It is a chameleon. Started off blue and it is now green.
A salesman at the local dealer has 000666. Orange.
