the 1427cc NA beast is back with updates
so you guys remember this?
up until a couple of weeks ago, that was the last time that motor was running. ive rebuilt it with a lot of changes and the results have been great! the previous setup made 242hp on brocks dyno in std correction factor at 11600 rpm. ive picked up 23 hp from there! i did some baseline runs on 94 octane pump gas, and then switched to methanol. There were some inductive clamp issues so the tq glitches on the alchy runs and doesn't display the full run in engine rpm so I put it in speed to catch the top of the run, you will notice a spike in tq when it looses signal. It happens now and then and did a couple times on a few of the earlier gas runs as well. the methanol makes big gains in the mid range, and similar gains to oxygenated fuel like mr12 or mrx02 at high rpm. (the bike was running on MRX02 to make 242 on brocks dyno)
since I kinda stole the green body work for my turbo bike, the 1427 is coming back as blue this time
