It sounds like we're talking another 10k in parts alone.
Billet crank and turbo kit . Plus installation and setup.
Big Dog country for sure.

Go guys Go. (from the pourch)

Ok all this Turbo talk has me fired up. Only thing is the finances for it. Would any of you consider going to the bank and borrowing the money for a Turbo Kit. I dont have the 6K in cash just sitting around, so I was kind of considering borrowing against my car and bike to do it.. I still haven't decided what to do. I have brand new 1270 kit I would sell to help finance part of it. I am sure that would pay for the Carillo rods and other things like bearings and some transmission work that I would do as well. Sound like an idea, or a bad idea???

turbo busa

I have a carbon busa that makes 219 hp on pump gas and I have another busa that makes 385 on pump gas. I ride the turbo busa long distances without a problem. It feels a little heavy compared to my 450lbs other bike, but I would sell my carbon bike before the turbo.

I've got a turbo on the busa, it's not like Charles's though. It only puts about 280hp to the rear wheel.

Yes, to the question about (will it flip over?). I about flipped mine over last summer in 2nd gear going about 100mph on the acceleration. It went into full boost and well reached for the sky. I hit the back brake and let off the throttle. It was just about too ugly. And that was with a 4" stretch.
