New personal best ET

This past week end I was able to better my personal best ET in a 1000ft.
1.445 60ft
3.894 330ft
5.916 1/8 @ 123mph
7.542 1000ft @ 139mph
What do you guys think that run would have been in a 1/4?

I'm impressed with your 60-ft. It's obvious that you're not a member of TFA.

I'm guessing that you would have been somewhere around the 9.50's in the 1/4. But, that's coming from an idiot that just started racing this year.

I have heard that you need a baffel in the oil pan if you 60ft 1.55 or better to save the bearings, anyone know about this?

How much wheelbase? How low?
Just screwing around last night I went:
1.67 60ft
4.480 330ft
6.698 1/8th @ 113

Stock height, stock wheelbase 17/47 gear.
Its clearly apparent the bike does not like to be overpowered in this setup.
One run was completely on the back tire too..lol (6.91)
Im gonna lower and stretch my bike soon just to get the ETs and shut some local Busa guys up...once and for all..lol
64" or more, lowered, Shinko'd, and airshifted Busas were running a best of 6.22. Every run got progressively worse too.

63, 3 in the rear and strapped in the front, MCR2, air shifted, BDE pipe, PCII, air box mod. and a 40 shot. I believe the bike will actually run better than it did this past week end. I have seen both 12s and Busas run better than me with the same set-up. My best run really wasn't that smooth.
I am relocating to Ft. Lauderdale , FL in June. I will not be able to get to a track until I get down there. Not enough time.

Steve,
A 1.67 60' is cooking for a stock height bike!
I'd like for all of us to go up to Bristol on either a Tuesday or Thursday street fight night during the next Deals Gap run.
How 'bout ya Harry, you game?

We have the Jax-Bbusa (and 12s for that matter) guys thinking that we are spraying John's 12...AND Ryan's Bbusa because we go 6.0s and high 5s (John's 12)
I'm gonna try REAL HARD (lots of lost sleep) to have John's bike spraying for the next Sunday race

One day when it stared raining at the track (Jax) I took the seat and tank cover off the bike and lifted the gas tank to show one guy that said we were spraying that...there was NOTHING hidden on the bike

Doesn't look like there will be time this week (AGAIN!!!) to install John's DryShot

I'd like to see how close to your 9.00's i can get, but i'm ~200lbs suited.
Please post a 9.0 run so i can use it as a guide to see where i need to improve. Next goal 9.30's.

Here ya go ninja12... (Thanks for keeping this ticket on yer site DEAN-o) I think this run might have been ON NUTEC!!!
John runs 117mph 1/8 and 147mph 1/4 pretty much all the time so...I agree that you are down on power a bit...
You need to make sure you tuck-in as good as posible though I'm talking...elbo-s against the tank and helmet on the tank also!!!
