oil pan full of gas
This is my first post, I didn't find an answer in search bar. I pulled out 06 14 to let it run for a while since it was too cold to ride. It started right up and idled until warm and I shut off. When I wnt to restart it it made a ticking sound like the battery was dead, so I installed brand new battery and it still made ticking sound. I started to smell gas and when I looked under the bike I saw fuel dripping heavily from my headers. I then checked my oil level and it was completely full so when I drained it, there was a shit ton of gas in the oil. What could have caused this? I didn't even ride it or rev it up or anything. Im glad it made the dead ticking sound because the motor hasn't even been turned over since the gas got in the oil pan, so im hoping i didn't cause further damage. I have power commander installed if that matters. PLEASE HELP

i'd guess injector locked open, drained the fuel rail into the cyl.
possibly fuel pump check valve also faulty.

I think that's too much gas for just the rail to drain.
If your battery was dead, you may have somehow messed up the wiring so that the fuel pump continued to run for some time without the "after start" enable/lock out circuit shutting off the pump when the bike was not running (and starter not engaged).
If you already figured it out let us know what you found. If not, You need to remove the spark plugs and MANUALLY rotate the engine to make sure all the gas is out of the cylinders. The "ticking sound" may have been a result of hydraulic lock in the cylinders. Continuing to try and start it could severely damage the rotating parts.
If you have to clean out the cylinders, don't turn it over with the starter or you will could blow yourself up with all the spraying gas. Best way is to take the bike outside and use an air nozzle to clean out the cylinders through the plug holes.
Used to be a pretty common scenario on carbureted bikes when the needles would stick open and the petcock left ON.
Tried to send you a PM or IM, unable
