Getting your Leathers cleaned??
Hey guys how do you have your leathers cleaned?
I figure it would be nice to have mine cleaned to remove last years salty sweat.
Can a regular dry cleaners do the job?

I wash mine. Been doing it since I got my first set in 1973.
Mild detergent, cold water. NEVER dry them in a dryer or hang them in the sun!!!!!
Just hang them in the (cool, shade) garage 'till dry and re-moisturize with leather treatment like neetsfoot, or Lexol or your favorite similar product.
You think I'm crazy don't you? Hello, what is a chamois? Does water hurt it?

Thanks Doug for the info.
I was thinking whats the difference if you get them wet in the rain, or a tub of water ,they still get wet.
I will try to just clean them from the inside and hang em to dry.

Nope, in the washing machine. A front loader works best.
Like Stu said, it's no different than getting caught in the rain.
